Art Appreciation Group

Cheadle Hulme U3A

Art Appreciation

We are a group looking at all aspects of art – from the earliest cave paintings and drawings to the cutting edge of modern art.
Recent talks include a director of the Lowry on modern art.
Our programme includes visits to art galleries.
If you are interested in hearing a mixture of in-house and guest speakers then you would be very welcome to join us.
Please contact the Group Leader beforehand or just come along to any of the meetings.
We have around 40 members at present who meet on the third Thursday of the month, usually from October to March at the Village Hall, Outwood Road, Heald Green from 2 to 4 p.m.
There is a subscription of £2.00 for each meeting which includes light refreshments.
Past meetings have included subject such as
All You Wanted to Know about Modern Art, The Lord Mayor of London's Fourth Plinth Project and The Male Nude.
