Cheadle Hulme
UNIVERSITY OF THE THIRD AGE
THE THIRD AGE TRUST
Family and Social History
The Group has decided on a new approach following the start of the new season and we have changed the name to more correctly reflect the topics we hope to cover in the coming months. Unless otherwise stated, we will continue to meet on the afternoon of the last Friday of each month at the Cheadle Hulme Quaker Meeting House on Station Road.

The format of our meetings will be that from 2:00 p.m. until at the latest 2:45 p.m. we will offer advice and suggestions to those members with personal family history research problems. This should be of particular help to beginners or those who have hit a “brick wall”.

After this session we will move on to the topic of the month. The idea is that those participating will bring to the session any knowledge or experiences they have perhaps from their own family history research or other enquires. We seek to widen our knowledge of the topics by sharing information and discussion. We hope this will be of interest to a wider range of members of the U3A.

If you would like to join the group, then please contact Gillian Rowe.

Group members should let Glllian know if they are planning to attend a meeting.

Group contact telephone numbers are listed in the Newsletter.
