We have two discussion groups at Cheadle Hulme's U3A.
One meets on the second Friday of the month from 2–4 p.m. and the second, the third Tuesday of the month, 2.30–4.30 p.m.
The numbers are limited to 14 in each group and at the moment we have no room in either group, but you can add your name to a waiting list if you so wish.
Once every six months we plan the next programme.
Everyone offers suggestions and we then vote on each subject, the most popular being chosen. We try to balance the programme with a mix of lighthearted and more testing subjects. Each meeting is chaired by a member of the group who will also do some research in advance if necessary. We take it in turns to meet in each others' homes.
