There are seven of us in the group, one of whom is French and she is a great help in increasing our vocabulary and correcting grammar.
We meet in each other's homes on the first and third Monday of the month.
We chat informally about plays and films we have seen, books we have read and any other topic which arises.
The group is small which gives members a chance to speak.

This group started as a conversational group but has evolved to cover a degree of structured learning with exercises designed to improve the members’ knowledge of French language and grammar. Though quite taxing, we have a great deal of fun and are a very friendly group. However, as we meet in each others’ houses and already have 10 members we regret that we are unable to accept new members for the time being.
