We meet one evening a month to play board games –Scrabble, Rummikub, Trionimoes, etc.

We are a group of 20 and the atmosphere is social, enthusiastic and competitive.  

We play in groups of four for three hours with a break for tea/coffee, which we provide and make in turn. Each half hour the scores are totted up and the winner and loser from each table move round. This keeps the competitive spirit charged and adds to the friendly atmosphere.

Recently re-located from my home to the local church hall, we pay only to cover the cost of the hall. The members mostly loan the games themselves and extras required are paid for on a collective basis.
