Buongiorno! Parla Italiano?
The Italian Group was founded in June 2008.
We meet twice a month at 2.30 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of each month (except during the main holiday seasons). Meetings are held in the homes of Group members in Cheadle Hulme and Bramhall.
When the Group started many of the members had not studied Italian previously. The Group is therefore intended for those who are beginners or who feel that their Italian is so rusty they would like to start again.
We aim to be able to hold simple conversations on everyday topics, read simple passages and also study the basics of the underlying grammar.
We work mainly from a course book with accompanying CDs or cassettes which members buy.
The Group is led by a professionally qualified teacher of Italian.
